2006: Jon Stewart hosts the Academy Awards!
Anybody else really excited by this?
In his press release, Jon says:
"As an avid watcher of the Oscars, I can't help but be a little disappointed with the choice."

Oh whatever, I KNOW you watched them last year, too! I love this choice (and loved Chris Rock last year, too) but I admit I'd watch them even if Dick Cheney was hosting. I'm a sucker for big awards shows, and this is the granddaddy of them all!
